From founding the NYC chapter in 1999, to being a Regional Leader, to becoming the Chapter Outreach Coordinator from 2003 to 2006, Ira has spent time, effort, and love in building up the ICF infrastructure. In 2006 -2009 he served a three-year term on the Board and was re-nominated and elected to serve from 2009 through the end of 2011. You can contact him at idrerssner@gmail.com.
Ira's vision for the ICF is to be the dominant global coaching organization, setting the standards for ethics, credentials and for professional coaching. He believes the ICF needs to reach out to parts of the globe that are not represented at present as well as have a plan in place for assisting coaches who live in parts of the world that are subject to natural disasters and terrorism.
